If you did know the Rabbi or his family, please know that in the Jewish religion, it is not appropriate to send flowers, or cards or prayers with any mention of an afterlife. Rather, condolences are a celebration of the life and comfort for those who mourn.

Our beloved Rabbi of 50 years, Solomon B. Acrish, passed away late last night. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 24th at 3 pm at Temple Beth Elohim.
Shiva will take place on Tuesday night from 5:30 pm to 9 pm at Temple Beth Elohim. Terri Acrish will sit shiva in her home at 90 Sunset Place, Patterson, NY on Thursday, May 26th, from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Sunday, May 29th, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
We will hold a healing service at Temple Beth Elohim on Wednesday, June 1st at 7 pm.
