This first seminar was led by David Diamond from WJCS Center Lane. His presentation demonstrated the long history of LGBTQ+ people around the world, and highlighted the ongoing fight for visibility.

2. LGBTQ+ in Politics & Law (3/27/2022) – Click here for the recording.
This seminar featured prominent local politicians, including the Honorable State Supreme Court Justice James Hyer, transgender attorney Kristen Prata Browde, former Yonkers City Council Majority Leader Michael Sabatino, State Senator Peter Harckham, Consumer Protection Director of Westchester Jim Maisano, and former Ossining Mayor William Hanauer. In the session, each politician pointed out that LGBTQ+ issues must be treated equally and fairly by the law, emphasizing that public advocates have worked tirelessly over our history to bring about the rights that the national and local community has today.

This seminar gave voice to LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies to step forward to share their personal experiences in an open and heartfelt way that helped broaden the perspective of many attendees.
4. Faith & the LGBTQ+ Community (5/22/2022) – Click here for the recording.
The final seminar featured the Right Rev. Mary Glasspool, Assistant Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New York, who shared her wisdom and personal experiences as a married, lesbian Christian and discussed how LGBTQ+ issues relate to Jesus, the Christian faith, the Bible, and the world.
