TAG SALE THANK YOU

I want to thank everyone who helped plan and participate in this weekend’s Tag Sale. Thanks to all of you who rented spaces, donated tag sale items and baked goods and came out on Saturday to shop and support us.

Special thanks to those who worked so hard to make it successful:

Bruce Barber, Bob Velzy, Pat Mulholland and Anne Siemerling who moved furniture, marked out spots, carried boxes from the attic and kept an eye on the parking.

Kathy Martin who followed up via phone and email answering questions and signing up vendors from outside the parish.

Nancy Anderson, Flo Barber, Dorothy Baeder, Connie Holzer and Kathy Martin for help in unpacking, arranging, pricing and selling all the tag sale items, and for their help, along with Courtney Velzy in getting everything packed away afterward on Sunday.

Fr. Matt, Bernie Sotter, Diane Buschel and Bob Velzy for their work in the Good Shepherd Snack Shack all day preparing pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs with all the fixin’s and the new world famous gourmet Pulled Pork, Egg and & Cheese sandwich.

Sally Stevens did an awesome job again with the bake table – along with arranging all your donated treats she baked dozens of delicious cupcakes, cookies and pies.

Thanks to all their hard work (and a break in the weather) we had a fun-filled successful day — our profit after all expenses paid for the Snack Shack, Tag Sale Items and Baked Goods is over $1,200. Thank you all so much for your help.

Thank you also to Amanda Slattery, Scott Jones, Tom Rubino and Diane Buschel for getting the word out to the community via road signs, ads on line, local newspapers and Penny Saver. That is always so important.
