Your prayers and presence are requested as Fr. Hal Roark is instituted and inducted as the Eighth Rector of The Church of the Good Shepherd, this evening at 6:30pm. The Right Reverend Mary D. Glasspool, Assistant Bishop of New York, will be our celebrant at what will be a beautiful and festive celebration of Hal’s ministry with us. All are welcome, so please join us if you can. If not, please keep Hal, Lori, Lily, and the whole community of Good Shepherd in your prayers as we take this joyous step forward together.
Everliving God, strengthen and sustain Hal, that with patience and understanding he may love and care for your people; and grant that together they may follow Jesus Christ, offering to you their gifts and talents; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
