Vigils after Orlando

Dear Parish Family,

There are several vigils being held in our area to honor and remember the victims of the tragedy in Orlando. Please see below for more information about two that are happening this week.

Dear Members of the Somers Community,
The Somers High School Gay Straight Alliance welcomes the entire Somers community to join us for a Vigil for the victims of the tragedy that took place in Orlando this past weekend. Please join us in showing our support as we remember the victims. We encourage you to participate by sharing stories, thoughts, poems, etc… or just coming together to support one another through this very difficult time.

Our message is “There is No Time to Hate” and we encourage all to continue to embrace the world we live in and the differences among us. We also ask for your help in spreading the word by posting this on whatever social media you use.
