Weekly update: Diocesan Strategic Plan, Pentecost Manicures, Stewardship and MORE

Greetings on the Feast of Damien, Priest and Leper, who died in 1889, and Marianne, Member of Religious Order, who died in 1918,

THIS SUNDAY, we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter at our regularly scheduled services at 8 and 10.

*** STEWARDSHIP: it’s not just about money; it is about how we live in community celebrating the gifts we have been given – how to be good stewards of all that has been given to us – our bodies, skills, gifts, family, friends …. and yes, money. In a parish, Stewardship includes conversation, planning and action with respect to our parish budget as a means of being good stewards, good neighbors and good citizens. If you are interested in being part of the conversation, please come to a meeting after the Ten AM service this Sunday. Coming to the service is not a commitment to being part of the Stewardship Committee.

**** Please join us for a new event, the COGS Pentecost Paint Your Nails Red Treat Yourself to a Manicure Day. Reverend G mentioned at a meeting how festive it is to celebrate Pentecost by wearing red and painting your nails red and we thought – why not have a Manicure Day?
