I am coordinating carpools to get to the funeral in the Bronx on Friday. If you want to ride or you can offer rides to passengers, please contact me at mead@goodshepherdny.org. We will gather at the church and then head down together around 9:15 am on Friday.
Horace Jordan’s funeral plans are below:
A wake will be held on Thursday, May 31, from 3pm to 8pm, at Granby’s Funeral Home – 4021 White Plains Road, Bronx, NY
The funeral will be held on Friday, June 1, at 11am, at Saint Luke’s Church – 777 East 222nd Street, Bronx, NY
Burial will follow immediately after the service.
A reception will be offered by the family at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Granite Springs, following the burial – it will probably begin at 3pm.
Your prayers and presence (at whatever part of the funeral plan you can attend) are requested. Please continue to keep Horace and his family in your prayers.
