We had all 11 of our confirmation class members present last evening at a fun night of cooking, talking about the gifts God has given us, the Eucharist, dinner (filet mignon!), and games. It was a blast!
Our next Confirmation class focus on hands on outreach.
We will take a trip to the Community Center of Northern Westchester to tour, drop off supplies, and stock shelves of the food pantry on Saturday, November 23, followed by lunch and fun (bowling?). We will meet at the church at 9:15am to load minivans with supplies gathered throughout November.
The next day, Sunday, November 24, is Harvest Sunday, and we have one of our Food Drives that day. The Confirmation Class will bring all of the food and supplies brought in that day up to the altar to be blessed during the service.
