Hi Everyone,
As we prepare for Thanksgiving, I give thanks to God for you.
I’m thankful for your faithfulness, generosity, warmth, and drive. I’m thankful that you identify your gifts and talents and put them into loving service for the common good and the advancement of Christ’s reign. I’m thankful for the abundance of our ministries and the positive difference we make in our corner of the world. I’m thankful for the birds, the bats, the clothing drives, and the Parish Hall gatherings. I’m also grateful for the privilege to be your rector.
Collect for Thanksgiving Day:
Almighty and gracious Father, we give you thanks for the fruits of the earth in their season and for the labors of those who harvest them. Make us, we pray, faithful stewards of your great bounty, for the provision of our necessities and the relief of all who are in need, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
We will celebrate the Eucharist Thursday morning at 10:00 am. Please join us! If you can’t be there, know that you will be in our prayers.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
With love and prayers,
Hal
