Unfortunately, due to the forecast inclement weather, our local mission trip to Saint Andrew’s in Brewster has been canceled. We will let everyone know when it is rescheduled.
Parents’ Night Out fundraiser for Relay for Life (7:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
Take the night off and let us handle the babysitting for you! Drop your kids at COGS in their PJs for a fun evening, including a movie, pizza, popcorn, and soft drinks. We’ll take care of the kids while you enjoy an evening to yourselves. $20 for one child, $10 for siblings ($50 maximum per family). Children must be toilet trained, please.
All proceeds to benefit Somers Relay for Life.

Mother’s Day – Episcopal Charities Sunday – Birthday Sunday
8:00 am Rite 1 Said Service
9:00 am Monthly Breakfast with the 8:00ers
9:00 am Community Forum: Shrinking the size of the vestry
10:00 am Rite 2 Said Service with Hymns
11:00 am Festive breakfast provided by the men’s group
On Episcopal Charities Sunday, parishes take up a special collection to support Episcopal Charities’ extraordinary ministry to tens of thousands of children, men and women throughout the Diocese of New York. Special envelopes will be in the pews on Sunday. Please make checks out to “Good Shepherd” with “Episcopal Charities” in the memo.
In addition, in honor of Mother’s Day, baby goods are being collected at both services to benefit the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center.

Painting Party fundraiser (6:30 pm – 9:00 pm)
$45 per person includes all the supplies needed to create a beautiful painting & light snacks for afterwards. Feel free to BYOB (this is an adult only event!) Grab a friend or make a friend at Good Shepherd’s Painting Party. Reserve your spot by contacting Diane at admin@goodshepherdny.org. All proceeds will benefit Good Shepherd’s many programs.

Movie Premier fundraiser
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (10:00 am at Carmel Cinema)
Come one, come all! Each ticket includes movie admission, popcorn, soda, and a children’s gift bag valued at over $20.
First 2 tickets = $18 apiece; Second 2 tickets = $15 apiece
All proceeds will benefit Good Shepherd’s many programs. Tickets can be purchased any Sunday at Good Shepherd.

Ascension Day & Steakfest (6:30 pm)
Join us for our annual celebration of Ascension Day & Steakfest! Sign up in the Breezeway to help us get a headcount for the steak. This is a free event, and all are welcome! If you would like to sponsor the event to help defray the cost of the steak, indicate “Fellowship” in the memo of your check.
