It is with sadness I report that the Rev. Deacon Pauline (Polly) Marran died on November 23rd in Hannover, NH after a brief illness. Polly was ordained an Episcopal Deacon in 1992 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. She served the Diocese of New York at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Granite Springs, and the Diocese of New Hampshire at St. Thomas Church, Hanover, NH. She had been a member of the Episcopal Hospital Chaplaincy Board at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover. A memorial service will be held in Hanover. Her ashes will be interred in the Memorial Garden at Good Shepherd Church in Granite Springs at a date and time to be determined. “May her soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.” (BCP)
