Dear Parish Family,
I am writing with the sad news that our dear Connie Holzer died this morning. Connie was a fixture at Good Shepherd for many years, and her infectious smile and wit gladdened all that encountered her. She will be sorely missed.
Please help us to share this news with members of the congregation that do not have access to email. Details regarding the funeral arrangements will be shared as they become available. Please keep Connie, Kathy, Lee, Beth, Jen and all those who mourn in your prayers.
Gracious God, we pray to you for Connie and all those we love but see no longer. Grant to them eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine upon them. May her soul and the souls of all the departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
God our Creator, your grace gives life to all; receive Connie into your keeping and give her the new life promised through Jesus Christ our Savior, who once was dead and now lives with you and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever. Amen.
