Hi All:
As many of you are aware, Charlotte, the kids and I are soon relocating to Wales, UK. Indeed, it will be next month.
Wales is the home of my forefathers, so in some ways this is a return to roots. However, there are a number of family and other business-related drivers for us and life is, after all, a multi-colored palette of change.
That said, leaving behind our beloved U.S. home, friends and family is not without its sadness, of course, and to say farewell (for now, at least) we are having an afternoon get together in the church hall on Sat. June 18 from 3PM-7PM or so.
I will leave a sign-up sheet in the Breezeway. If you are able to make it, please write in your name and number in your group attending, in order that we have some kind of count. We will have a few drinks and snacks on hand.
We look forward to seeing you then. The Church of the Good Shepherd has been a big part of our lives in Westchester. We will miss you dearly and will keep a warm welcome in Wales ready for your arrival.
