TOMORROW, SATURDAY APRIL 30th: Youth Group, under the guidance of Jan Corning, will start gardening at 3 PM., planting vegetables that will be harvested to feed those in need, as well as flowers to beautify our grounds. After gardening, they’ll be going to the
BOY SCOUT SPAGHETTI DINNER at 5 PM. All are invited to the Dinner, a fundraiser for an Eagle Scout Community Service Project; $10 per person.

THURSDAY, MAY 5th 6 PM, ASCENSION THURSDAY LITURGY and STEAKFEST Forty days after the Resurrection (Easter) Christians celebrate the Feast of the Ascension, when Jesus ascended into heaven. (See the Book of Acts, 1:1-11) In a sense, Ascension and Ash Wednesday are bookends to Easter. We’ll celebrate the Eucharist at 6 PM, followed by the Annual Steak Fest.
