Dear Family of Good Shepherd,
Many of you will have heard of the tragic death Sunday evening of Clint Herbert, a husband and father of 7 children ages 20, 18, 14,12, 11, 9 and 2. The Herberts are residents of Somers and their children attend Somers schools. Please remember Mr. Herbert, his widow, children and family in your prayers.
The family’s immediate needs have been met; however, there will be significant need in the near and distant future. As soon as we hear of the long-term plan for gathering support for the family, we’ll communicate this to the parish, so that we may join the rest of the community.
Some of you may have children who are in school or other activities with the Herbert children. Please remember that I am always available for conversation and prayer.
May his soul and the souls of all the departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
