Giving Tree
Please take a look at the Giving Tree which will be in the Breezeway during Advent. It is covered with gift tags requesting donations for the children in the schools run by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. People are encouraged to take a gift tag, write a check and mail it in one of the envelopes under the tree. Thank you for your support!
Food for Body and Soul begins Wednesday, 12/9 from 12:00-1:30pm
Throughout Advent, Reverend Gwyneth will be leading a class with reflection and Bible study appropriate for the season. Bring a Brown Bag Lunch and join us in the Guild Room for any or all of the next 3 sessions, on December 9, 16, & 23. Hope to see you there!
Our annual Christmas Bazaar is this Saturday, 12/12 from 9:00am-4:00pm
Please plan to stop by and check out all the holiday treasures being offered for sale at this annual fun event. We especially need baked goods for our always-successful bake table. Please whip up a batch of your favorite goodies and drop any donations at church Friday evening or Saturday morning. We can also use some help on Saturday with selling the items. If you are able to help or have any questions, please contact Arleen Flury at (914) 248-8896. Thank you!
The Christmas Pageant is next Sunday, 12/13 during the 10:00am service!
A note from the Financial Secretary
Thank you to all that have submitted a pledge card for 2016. If you have not yet had a chance to return yours, there is still time! Pledge cards are available in the back of the church, and all those who could not be with us on Stewardship Sunday should have received a card in the mail. You can either return the card by mail to the church office, Attn: Financial Secretary, or simply place it in the collection plate on Sunday. Thank you for helping us to get an accurate idea of giving for 2016. This information is crucial for many reasons, especially for the Rector Search.
Help us finish 2015 strong: if you have fallen behind on your 2015 pledge, December is a great time to catch up if you can. If you are having difficulties and are unable to meet your pledge, please know there is no judgment or shame around that. Please speak to Reverend Gwyneth, who is always available for pastoral support.
