Burial will follow immediately afterwards at Kensico Cemetery.
Your prayers and presence are requested.
Tom and his wife Laura had just begun attending the 10am service at Good Shepherd this Spring, and were active members of the Seniors Group. Even if you didn’t get the chance to meet Tom, you need to know that he LOVED Good Shepherd, the parish and the people. Our ability to be present with our brothers and sisters, especially in times of sorrow, is a great gift indeed. Whether or not you knew Tom well doesn’t matter, and I invite you to be present with Laura at his funeral. The gift of prayer is likewise given to us all, and I invite you to offer prayers and supplications for Tom and Laura, and all their loved ones.
Father of all, we pray to you for those we love, but see no longer: Grant them your peace; let light perpetual shine upon them; and, in your loving wisdom and almighty power, work in them the good purpose of your perfect will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
