RELAY FOR LIFE IS FRIDAY!!! Be there at by 6:30 at the latest!!!
I will begin to set up between 4:30 and 5pm. There will be no campsite drop access after 5:30pm. So if you are bringing anything and want to drop it off right at the campsite- you have to be there before 5:30. At 5:30 we have to move all vehicles to the SMS parking
Our campsite spot is attached in the link on this message. We are not staying the night, it is a spot where we can sit and have snacks and water. The site is labeled A 12.
Bring chairs to sit in, snacks to share, a desire to participate.
Last year there were concerns that many people felt they were unable to see the fundraisers at each of the campsites. As a result RELAY is going to try and have the fundraiser tables all in one section so all walkers can easily see them. The area selected is the grassy stretch on the outside of the track between SIS and the middle school. SO we will set up a table there with the jewelry. If you look at the campsite and we are not there- check out the fundraising area- its on the map too.
NOTE: This event is being hosted by the Somers School District. No open flames, pets, smoking, fireworks or alcohol is allowed. Grilling of food is permissible remember to bring a fire extinguisher. All camp site activities should stop during the opening ceremonies and Luminaria Ceremony.
Each team is responsible for cleanup of their campsite,
If you leave your child at Relay without staying, Please come pick them up at the luminaria ceremony at 10:30- Meet at the campsite so I know you have picked him/her up.
