Relay for Life is Friday May 29th 7:00pm- 11:00pm at Somers Middle School.
Led by members of the Youth Group, our Relay for Life team hopes to raise money to support the fight against cancer. why not join the team and walk with us?
To sign up go to relayforlife.org and then put in the 10589 zip code. choose Somers Relay for Life- then on the right hand side it will show you teams- choose the “see more teams” and scroll down until you see Church of the Good Shepherd. Click the “join” or “donate” button.
On Sunday we will have luminaries for your to decorate in honor of a survivor or in memory of someone. The cost is $10.00/luminary. The luminaries are lit at 10:30pm at the relay and they line the track with the light of hope for a cure. Its an incredibly moving ceremony.
We will also have handmade jewelry to sell to support our team and are having a car wash- stay tuned for the date.
