Thanks to Vernon and Yolanda Alexander for leading members of our Youth Group to see and talk about Selma. We drove to New Rochelle and watched the movie; afterwards we had an in depth discussion about racism, justice, courage, and working together.
The Youth Group members determined that we ought to show the movie to the entire congregation when it comes out on DVD… So we will probably have a showing on the Jumbotron in the spring.
