Every February we welcome the families and scouts of Somers Boy Scout Troop 376, the troop chartered by Good Shepherd. The Scouts worship with us and provide a wonderful after church reception! Don’t miss this Sunday!
BIBLE STUDY: Christology in the Gospels

BIBLE STUDY: Leadership of Women in Paul and the Pastorals

Though the Episcopal Church has had women priests and women bishops for decades (and our current Presiding Bishop is a women), the role of women leaders, in particular clergy, in the church remains controversial – the church of England consecrated their first female Bishop ever just this month, and many other denominations as well as provinces in the Anglican Communion still do not allow women to be ordained leaders. This class will take a fair look at Paul and the Pastorals (the Scriptures wherein most informed arguments on either side wind up).
