For the second year running, Father Matt was crowned Good Shepherd Chili Champion!
He swept every category, including best chili, hottest chili, mildest chili, and only chili.
The vote was unanimous by the 10 people who managed to get plowed out and get to church, none of whom, aside from Father Matt, brought chili. No one at all was bothered that the only chili entered won all prizes, because they were hungry and cold.
“Victory is mine!” said Father Matt in the post competition media session.
