We have posted some photos of our trip to hear Fr. Matt preach at the ordination at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Vernon, Britanny, Sindey, Emily and I met at the Jones Family for the 2 hour service! Great music! great preaching! lots of incense! The pictures show Fr. Matt in procession from the alter, posing with the newly ordained priests and Bishop Dietche. There are also photos of the girls exploring the cathedral and one photo(a little blurry) of the amazing Phoenix sculpture hanging from the cathedral roof. You can see us leaving V& Ts pizza after eating way to much yummy pizza (extra cheese!!). We explored the peace fountain garden, got hungarian pastries and came home happy and tired from a great day. The girls had such a great time (Vernon and me too) that we plan on another trip to the cathedral this time with a planned tour, and of course more pizza and pastries. We hope more of our youth can join us for the next trip.
