We have thus far donated 717 pounds of food and supplies in Lent! We are very close to our goal of 1000 pounds to be donated by Easter Sunday. Thanks for all of your support this year!
If you are able, I invite you to join me in one final Lenten push for food donations during the Easter Triduum & Easter Sunday. Weather you have a Good Shepherd shopping bag or not, you can bring a bag or two or three of food and supplies to the church this week. The service schedule is below… donations can be brought to any of these services!
Maundy Thursday
6:30 PM Agape Dinner (potluck – Mediterranean food)
7:30 PM Maundy Thursday Liturgy (w/ footwashing & washing of the altar & stripping of the sanctuary)
Childcare provided during the 7:30 PM service
Good Friday
12:00 Noon Stations of the Cross (outdoors in to Memorial Garden) if it is warm)
6:30 PM Soup Dinner (potluck – no meat)
7:30 PM Good Friday Liturgy (w/ Passion of John & Communion from reserved Sacrament)
Childcare provided during the 7:30 PM service
Easter Eve (Saturday)
5:00 PM drop off all ingredient for Pizza making
5:00 PM Youth Group & Confirmation Class & all others welcome to help make pizza
6:30 PM Pizzafest
7:30 PM The Easter Vigil (w. Paschal Fire/Exsultet/Baptism)
