Please mark your calendars to help cleanup the church grounds on the afternoon of Saturday April 12. We will begin cleanup at 2pm.
Cleanup will include removing all leaves from gutters, picking up all trash and litter on the parish property and on the road in front of the church, clearing and stacking all sticks and branches, polishing the church pews and floor, spot cleaning the carpets in the building, taking down and storing all Christmas Lights, leaf blowing throughout the property, and repairing the playtime fence in the parking lot.
We will conclude at 5pm for outdoor Stations of the Cross (beginning in the church and progressing to the Memorial Garden via the Garden Path).
At 6pm we will watch the movie Life of Brian (rated R and for good reason).
Father Matt will provide BBQ ribs as food for dinner during the movie and in thanksgiving for all who helped with the cleanup. Sides, snacks, and other entrees are potluck (collared greens, cornbread, Mac and cheese, cream soda, root beer, and really great Craft Ales go well with BBQ).
