Hi everyone– As you know, we have a thriving Sunday School program with more than 30 active students across three classes. As you also know, we have a small, dedicated group of volunteer teachers who work with them every week to develop their Christian education. The kids really seem to enjoy the combination of lessons, crafts and activities.
As I have written and spoken about previously, we are in need of someone to step forward to teach our youngest children, those in PreK through 2nd grade, beginning March 2, ending April 6. Five teaching Sundays, plus a Family Sunday (when kids perform duties at 10am service.)
I am challenging someone who has not taught before to step forward and embrace this opportunity. You will have assistance and plenty of materials and support. Of course, if you have taught before, you know how rewarding it can be, so you are welcome as well. We need a volunteer(s) by Feb. 20 so preparations can be made. Trust me, it’s FUN and you will feel great about the impact you are having. Please see Father Matt or me if interested. Thank you!
