Buy your tickets for the Wine/Beer Tasting
This Friday, April 19, beginning at 7PM, we celebrate our Fourth Annual Wine/Beer Tasting (Beer is new in 2013). The Tasting features a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $20 in advance (3 tickets for $50 in advance), $25 at the door. Bring your family and friends. Child care is provided, including pizza and a movie for the kids. Food Still Needed for Wine/Beer Tasting
The delicious food offered for all of our guests (parishioners, friends, and visitors) is prepared/donated by us. We are still looking for people to sign up for several food items. You can sign up online at the below link. You simply choose an item and put your name in. We do need the pound of blue cheese (you can’t have a wine tasting without blue cheese). Proxy Bidding for Auction Items Wine/Beer Tasting
If you are not able to come to the auction, members of the Tasting Committee are happy to enter proxy bids for you. To ask for a Proxy Bidder, please email Father Matt (send an email to mead@goodshepherdny.org). You will be assigned a Proxy Bidder who will bid for you at the event. Please email the item(s) you are interested in and your maximum bid(s). If you have any questions, please email Father Matt.

Info on the Eric Clapton Photo:
Gene Shaw has been traveling to London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Italy, Chicago and New York (to name a few places) for three decades photographing Eric Clapton since 1982. He has the most comprehensive collection of Eric Clapton photographs from the 80’s 90’s and 2000’s. His work has been seen at The Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame (Clapton Exhibit) along with other exhibitions, Clapton books and Tour programs, Time Life picture library, Rock Paper Photo online gallery and CD’s.
This black and white photograph was taken at The Royal Albert Hall (RAH) during Clapton’s legendary orchestra concerts during 24 nights in 1991. This was the first time any performer played the RAH for a run of 24 nights. He performed these shows with the London Philharmonic and The Late Michael Kamen conducting. This photograph has been used for various magazines and Clapton Books. This offering has been limited to 150 prints and will be a viable addition to an Eric Clapton collector. Shaw is very happy to be able to offer this framed photograph for such a worthy cause.
