The Helen Moore Music Fund at Good Shepherd supports special music for certain events (like Christmas). We had wonderful music this year for Christmas Eve, but we are a bit short in the Helen Moore Fund. If you would like to support music at Good Shepherd and get the Helen More Music Fund out of deficit, please send a check to the parish office payable to the Church of the Good Shepherd (memo Helen Moore Music Fund).
New Year’s Day is a Holy Day in the church – it is called the Holy Name of Jesus because Jesus was named on the 8th day according to Jewish custom. We will have a said Eucharist (Prayer C) with Christmas Carols by request (like a hymn sing). After the service there will be an open house in the rectory.
