I would like to ask all our Good Shepherd family and friends to say a few prayers and thanksgivings tonight.
Please pray for all who have been impacted by the atrocity in Newtown, CT; may God bless and keep all who were killed, and may God bless and comfort all who grieve and mourn: give then strength and courage to face each hour, day, week, month, and year ahead.
Please pray for and give thanks for all parents and for every child, especially those in our own church; may God bless them and enlighten them with love, compassion, peace, and joy.
Please pray for all teachers, administrators and for all who work with children and their families: we pray especially for Thelma, Jen, Jim, Ashley, Adam, Jean, Diane, Doug, Rachel, Kerry, Glenn, Jane, Sharen, Elizabeth, Beth, Charles, Bill, Pat, Katrina, and all whose lives and careers are devoted to children. Full their hearts, hands, and faces with joy and love, and let them know that they are a blessing to all of us.
Please pray for anyone and everyone else who you can think of. God bless and may you know and fell the presence of Christ this Advent season.
