The Funeral for Donald Paustian will be on Monday, December 3, at 10AM. Donald was the brother of Beverley Strang, and Aunt of Cindy Rubino and Donna Paterno. Your prayers and presence are requested at the service on Monday.
It’s that time of year again! St. Nicholas Day is December 6 and we will be celebrating in advance on Sunday December 2. St. Nicholas will visit the Sunday School and we hope the children will remember his story. Mite boxes will be distributed at the 10.00am service to the children and to any adults who wish to participate by collecting small coins throughout the Christmas season. The filled mite boxes will be collected at the Sunday School pageant on Saturday, January 5 and at the Sunday services on January 6. This year the St. Nicholas ingathering will support the educational needs of children throughout the Holy Land by means of scholarships, teacher training, books and supplies.
This Sunday December 2nd the youth group (anyone in high school and less than 30) will meet for a contemprary prayer service (poetry, scripture, contemporary music, prayers) at 5PM and then have pizza for dinner after. During pizza we will plan our meetings for 2013 with the idea that we will meet monthly, for food, fun, spiritual discussions. Hope to see you there! no need to RSVP but if you know for sure let us know- but if your not sure if you can attend and can be there at the last minute- just show up! see you Sunday!!
