As many of you will be aware, and as I mentioned today in church, we are having a fun day out fishing\/swimming\/hiking\/eating\/lazing (whatever works for you!) at\u00a0FDR Park next Saturday, August 4th.<\/strong><\/p>\n We have reserved a section at the Park for the COGS with picnic tables and grilling facilities, with its own parking area.\u00a0The section is Parking 6F<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n The most convenient access to the Park for where we will be located is from the Taconic Parkway – take the exit for the FDR park – follow the road and bear left when it splits. Further down you will see parking on the right, I am advised, and 6F should be clearly marked.<\/p>\n We will be cooking burgers and dogs, providing disposable plates and silverware, cups etc.\u00a0We do ask that you bring a side dish for the group if you can and your own beverages.<\/strong><\/p>\n We aim to arrive at around 10AM but feel free to drop by when it suits you, of course.<\/p>\n http:\/\/nysparks.com\/parks\/148\/getting-there.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n Map<\/strong><\/p>\n Note – Section 6F is not clearly marked on the below Map – we will be located in Parking 6 (shown).
