\nThese are the funeral arrangements for parishioner Tom Traynor:<\/p>\n
Wake<\/strong> Funeral<\/strong> Your prayers and presence are requested.<\/strong><\/p>\n Tom and his wife Laura had just begun attending the 10am service at Good Shepherd this Spring, and were active members of the Seniors Group. Even if you didn’t get the chance to meet Tom, you need to know that he LOVED Good Shepherd, the parish and the people. Our ability to be present with our brothers and sisters, especially in times of sorrow, is a great gift indeed.\u00a0 Whether or not you knew Tom well doesn\u2019t matter, and I invite you to be present with Laura at his funeral.\u00a0 The gift of prayer is likewise given to us all, and\u00a0I invite you to offer prayers and supplications for Tom and Laura, and all their loved ones.<\/p>\n Father of all, we pray to you for those we love, but see no longer: Grant them your peace; let light perpetual shine upon them; and, in your loving wisdom and almighty power, work in them the good purpose of your perfect will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n Almighty God, Father of mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn; that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
