Sad news in our Good Shepherd family. \u00a0Glenn Hintze’s father, Otto Hintze, died suddenly this past Sunday morning, November 16, at age 81 at his Maryland home. \u00a0 Please keep Otto, Otto’s widow Janet, Glenn, and all of the Hintze family in your prayers.<\/p>\n
The funeral service and viewing will be at the Higgins Memorial Home in Freehold, NJ (about two hours or more from Somers). \u00a0(Please know the Hintze family appreciates your prayers and support; they welcome all to the funeral and viewing, but they do not expect people to travel several hours away to NJ.)<\/p>\n
Viewing:<\/strong> <\/em><\/div>\n Father of all, we pray to you for those we love, but see no\u00a0longer: Grant them your peace; let light perpetual shine upon\u00a0them; and, in your loving wisdom and almighty power, work\u00a0in them the good purpose of your perfect will; through Jesus\u00a0Christ our Lord.\u00a0Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and\u00a0courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to\u00a0come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those\u00a0without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great\u00a0goodness, and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with\u00a0those they love.
