Good Shepherd is currently 9th in total donations in the Somers Relay for Life.\u00a0 TOP 10 is great, but\u00a0TOP 5<\/span><\/strong> is better!\u00a0 We are $850 away from being in the\u00a0TOP 5.\u00a0 Join me TODAY and donate at least $10 to\u00a0the Good Shepherd Team’s\u00a0effort to support the American Cancer Society!\u00a0 DONATE HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n

We are also sponsoring several other fundraisers to support Relay for Life.\u00a0 Obviously you can donate directly to our team (Here is the link again!)<\/a><\/p>\n

You can also\u00a0 purchase a Luminaria. During the Luminaria Ceremony, votive candles are lit inside a personalized bag to shine light on the fight against cancer. Forms are on the bulletin board in the breezeway. Speak to Fay for information on donating a Luminaria.<\/p>\n

This Saturday is our family friendly fundraising option:\u00a0\u00a0THE BABYSITTING FUNDRAISER: “Kids Night Out so Parents Can Go Play\u201d,<\/span> <\/strong>on Saturday May 18th from 4pm to 8pm. The suggested minimum donation is $25 for the child and $10 for each additional child. Please speak to Fay Wright\u00a0if you have any questions, or if you have a large family and are interested in a \u201cfamily package deal\u201d for the evening.\u00a0 We will have games, movies, hot dogs, juice and popcorn included in the price. The children will be supervised by adults and teenagers from the parish. Ages 4-12 welcome, but children must be able to use the bathroom independently to attend.\u00a0 WE NEED HELP! 3 more adults would be great and 3 teenagers are needed too. Responsibilities include, checking the children in and out, running the bingo games, cooking hot dogs and popcorn, general oversight. Let Fay know if you can help!<\/p>\n
