Pat Katz’ Funeral will be at 2PM this Saturday, February 23, at the Church of the Good Shepherd.\u00a0<\/strong> We need ushers and altar servers for the service, and if possible acolytes too.\u00a0 If you are available to serve or usher, please let me know.\u00a0 The service will be followed by a reception in our parish hall.\u00a0 All are invited.\u00a0 Your prayers and presence are requested.<\/p>\n Jesus said, \u201cLet not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father\u2019s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.\u201d\u00a0 Father of all, we pray to you for those we love, but see no longer: Grant them your peace; let light perpetual shine upon them; and, in your loving wisdom and almighty power, work in them the good purpose of your perfect will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.<\/p>\n Brother Emil Denworth, FMS, died at his home, Champagnat Hall, Bronx, New York, on Monday, February 18, 2013, after a long illness.\u00a0<\/strong> A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, at 7:00 PM, in the Chapel of Mount Saint Michael Academy.\u00a0 A Requiem Mass is to be celebrated at The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Times Square,\u00a0at a later date
