Pat Katz’ Funeral will be February 23, Saturday, at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd. <\/strong>There will be no wake. The service will be followed by a reception in the parish hall for parishioners, friends, and family. Your prayers and presence at the funeral and reception are requested. \u00a0We are still looking for a home for Pat’s cat, Pookie. \u00a0Please contact me if you know a place for this friendly and lovable cat.<\/p>\n

Please keep Brother Emil Denworth in your prayers. \u00a0<\/strong>Brother Emil is gravely ill. \u00a0May God bless him with comfort, courage, and peace. \u00a0Brother Emil was at my institution as rector and has been a good friend for many years.<\/p>\n

I regret to inform you that the 2013 Pilgrimage to the Holy Land has been cancelled. \u00a0<\/strong>We did not have the minimum number of pilgrims to make the trip.<\/p>\n

This Sunday:<\/strong>
\nThe Vegetable Garden planning session is this Sunday after the 10AM service.<\/p>\n

Throughout Lent:<\/strong>
\nThroughout Lent the 8am service will include the Great Litany.
\nThroughout Lent the 10am service will include the Millennium Development Goals, Eucharistic Prayer D (with intercessions), and a few other seasonal changes.
\nThroughout Lent at 5:00 pm we will offer Stations of the Cross.
\nBring in coins for the Coin Jug offering for the Outreach Fund.
\nBring in toiletries for the Community Center of Northern Westchester.
\nPick up a shopping bag to fill with supplies for the CCNW.
