Good Shepherd’s has a very active and engaged High School Youth Group. The Youth Group’s mission is to provide opportunities for our high school students to explore their personal relationship with Jesus and apply their Christian faith in their everyday lives. The Youth Group meets two times a month after the 10am service for discussion of the lessons and sermons meaning to them. Discussions range from the deeply spiritual to wildly secular. As part of the annual calendar we also go on hikes, bowl, and travel to NYC to visit museums and have dinner. The Youth Group organizes and takes part in several fellowship and outreach events throughout the year, including participating in the Support Connection annual walk; providing babysitting at our evening events and making the most amazing meal for the entire congregation at the Easter Eve Pizza Festival. Two Youth Leaders are identified every year to collaborate with the Adult leaders to plan the event calendar and facilitate discussions
