Support Connection provides emotional, social, and educational support services to women, their families and friends affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Support Connection is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has been offering free personalized support programs for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer since 1996. By providing our individualized services in a warm, caring environment, Support Connection has made a difference in thousands of lives.

The Yorktown Annual Support Connection Walk takes place at the start of October. Each year Good Shepherd fields a team for the Support Connection Annual Walk. Our team in regularly is part of the Ray of Champions by raising over $1800.00. If you are interested in walking, please speak to Diane Buschel, a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd who organizes our team each year.
