Holy Week & Easter at Good Shepherd – Come experience the Triduum

Welcome to Holy Week!

At Good Shepherd, we are preparing to celebrate the Easter Triduum, the Great Three Days, which begins tomorrow on Maundy Thursday.

Your presence is what makes Good Shepherd events such a blessing. Please come experience these powerful services, and invite a friend. If you would like to bring food for any of the dinners, the suggested themes are listed below. We especially need help with the ingredients for Pizzafest (see below and sign up if you can). If you prefer to support these events with a monetary donation, please indicate “Fellowship” on your check. Or, just show up! As always, thank you for all you do to make our fellowship events so successful.

Maundy Thursday
4:30pm Set up and food prep
6:30pm Mediterranean-themed potluck
7:30pm The Celebration of the Lord’s Supper with Foot Washing
If you can, come any time after 4:30pm to help with set up, baking bread, and other food prep. It’s always a wonderful and fun time of fellowship, and many hands make light work! We will also need help with clean up on each of the three nights.

Good Friday

7:30pm The Celebration of the Lord’s Passion

Holy Saturday

We still need several items for Pizzafest. Please check out this signup genius, and consider providing some of the needed ingredients. Thank you!

Easter Sunday

10:00am Said Rite II Holy Eucharist with Hymns
Coffee hour on Easter Sunday will be potluck, so please feel free to bring something to share. The 10:00am service is followed by our annual Egg-cellent and Egg-stravagant Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn. Invite family and friends to attend – all are most welcome!
