Reminder that our annual meeting will be held tomorrow morning, January 21, after the 10am service. Please plan to join us to hear about what was accomplished in 2017, and our hopes, dreams, and plans for 2018. A festive breakfast is being provided by members of the Men’s Group, and all are invited!

Saturday, January 27 – The Vision Workshop
Parishioner Theresa Wienecke, Life Mastery Consultant, will offer a free workshop from 9:00-11:00 am in the Good Shepherd Parish Hall: The Vision Workshop. Let 2018 be your year for clarity, joy, and fulfillment. All participants will leave with a 2018 individualized Vision Statement. Perfect for high school students thru retirees. Friday, February 2 – Candlemas
Candlemas (aka The Presentation) is coming soon. It is also the first anniversary of Fr. Hal’s institution as our 8th Rector! We will have a Rite 3 Eucharist at 6:30 pm followed by our annual CHILIFEST! Come one and all to share your favorite award-winning chili recipe! There is a sign-up sheet in the breezeway. Whose cuisine will reign supreme? After dinner, the Middle School & High School Youth Groups will be having a board game night. All are welcome!
Sunday, February 4 – Superbowl potluck
All are welcome to come enjoy the game at the rectory, from 5:30 pm until….. Bring your favorite game day food and join in the fun!
Sunday, February 11 – Family Sunday & Mardi Gras party
Our 10:00 am service is a Family Service, with our young people taking on various roles throughout the service. Afterwards, we will enjoy a fun Mardi Gras-themed party in the Parish Hall. Wear your favorite costume to the service and party afterwards. Bring friends and enjoy the fun!

Lent begins. Eucharist and ashes will be offered at 8:00 am, 12:00 noon, and 6:00 pm
