This weekend at Good Shepherd

Hi all – Here’s what’s coming up this weekend:

Saturday, November 4: 8:00 am – midnight
Our 30th Annual Prayer Vigil
All of the slots have been filled. For those who have signed up, thank you! And, even if you didn’t sign up, you are still invited to spend some quiet time in the church at one of the multiple prayer stations. If you did sign up, please arrive on time for your hour and enter the sanctuary in silence. Enjoy this powerful time of prayer and reflection.

Sunday, November 5
All Saints Sunday & Pledging Sunday
Both worship services at 8:00 am & 10:00 am will conclude with quiet time when all will be invited to present their pledges. After both services, the Stewardship Committee is providing a delicious meal for all. Please join us!

8:00 am – Rite I said service, followed by breakfast in the Guild Room
10:00 am – Our Rite II service begins in the Memorial Garden, where we will offer special prayers for All Saints. We will then process into the church for the remainder of the service. After the service, we will share our annual luncheon in the Parish Hall.

Sunday is the final day to donate coats, sweaters, and sweatshirts for this year’s drive for the veterans. After the 10:00 service, the Seniors Group and Middle School Youth Group will meet to package the donations for delivery to the VA Hospital in Montrose. We will be bringing the coats, sweaters and sweatshirts to the VA hospital on Tuesday 11/7, leaving the COGS rear parking lot at about 10:15 am and if any parishioners and children would like to attend, please contact Bruce at 914-299-5293 no later than Monday. Thank you!
