Today is our annual celebration of the Feast of Saint Michael & All Angels (Michaelmas) followed by our awesome Oktoberfest! As an added treat, we are delighted to welcome back Bishop Allen Shin. He will be our Celebrant and Preacher at the Eucharist, beginning at 6:30 pm. This is a wonderful day to invite your friends and neighbors to come check out Good Shepherd and get to know us.

Wilfried is roasting a whole pig all day today, so it will be perfect for us to enjoy after the service. It is a German-themed feast, with seasonal beer from local breweries, and any potluck sides and desserts are most appreciated.

The event is free for everyone. As an entry “ticket” we ask that everyone bring a nonperishable food donation for our food drive, in support of the Community Center of Northern Westchester. There are reusable bags available at the back of the church, but loose items are also gratefully accepted.

It’s going to be a great time, and we look forward to seeing everyone. Bring your friends!
