Hi all – Tomorrow morning we are delighted to welcome Ms. Kathy Quinn, Executive Director of Support Connection. Ms. Quinn will be speaking at our Community Forum from 9-9:30 tomorrow morning in the Parish Hall.
Support Connection is a truly unique local organization. Since 1996, they have helped thousands of people with breast and ovarian cancer, as well as their family and friends. Support Connection provides critically needed counseling, support groups, educational programs, wellness workshops and resource information. All of these services are FREE.
In addition, Good Shepherd will again have a team participating in the Support-A-Walk on Sunday, October 1 at FDR Park in Yorktown. Thursday, September 28 – Senior Group trip to Val-Kill
The Senior Group is coordinating lunch at church at 11:30 am, and a trip to Eleanor Roosevelt’s home in Hyde Park, NY. Lunch is free, and the cost of the trip is $10 per person. Car pooling is available. This trip is open to all – please sign up in the Breezeway to let us know you’re coming!
