Hi all – It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news that former parishioner Sheila McCluskey has died. Sheila was a long-time member of Good Shepherd, and had moved to Hampton, VA to be with her daughter and her family. Although Sheila had found a new parish home in Virginia that she loved, she remained an active member of the Good Shepherd prayer group, and was still in touch with many parishioners. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace.

God our Creator, your grace gives life to all; receive Sheila into your keeping and give her the new life promised through Jesus Christ our Savior, who once was dead and now lives with you and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever. Amen.

Almighty God, Father of mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all those who mourn; that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
